| dc.description.abstract | Currently, the rapid development of the automobile industry leads to an increase in traffic intensity on the roads, a sharp change in traffic flows in a short period of time results an increase in the number of road accidents. Pavement texture and skid resistance are important pavement transport-operational indicators of roads, which determines the friction between the pavement surface and vehicle tyres. Implementing optimal procedures for maintaining a sufficient texture and friction coefficient are important for minimizing road accidents. Therefore, the research discusses the measurement methodologies, correlation and resource-cost effectiveness of the mean texture depth (MTD), mean profile depth (MPD), British pendulum number (BPN) and coefficient of friction (FC) measurements on a 4R18 road in Uzbekistan. | |
