dc.description.abstractThis article analyzes the genesis and development of rights related to inventions in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It examines the historical evolution of patent law during the former Soviet period, the formation of national legislation after independence, and the reforms implemented in the field of intellectual property. Particular attention is given to the mechanisms of legal protection of inventions, the role of laws and subordinate legal acts, and the legal framework governing the activities of the Intellectual Property Agency. The article also emphasizes the importance of taking into account international experience and legal standards in improving national legislation.
