Ushbu maqolada har ikkala asarda ona obrazining shakllanishi, uning qahramonlar bilan o‘zaro aloqasi va hayotiy vaziyatlarga qarshi kurashi, shuningdek, ona obrazining ijtimoiy va psixologik jihatlari ko‘rib chiqiladi.
