dc.description.abstractThis article compares the expression of love in two masterpieces of English and Uzbek literature «Farhod and Shirin» by great poet and writer Alisher Navoi as well as «Romeo and Juliette» by outstanding playwright, one of the founders of English literature William Shakespeare. The role of love and its expression is used differently in literature of these two rich nations.
