This study aimed to develop an educational curriculum based on the Driver Model and evaluate its impact on learning the technical stages and achieving numerical performance in the shot-put event. An experimental approach was adopted with a two-group design Experimental vs. Control. The sample consisted of 30 students from the University of Babylon, randomly assigned into two equal groups. The program lasted 8 weeks, with two 90-minute sessions per week. Results: Findings revealed statistically significant differences) p (0.05 < favoring the post-tests for both groups, with a distinct superiority of the experimental group using the Driver Model across all technical and achievement variables. Conclusion: The Driver Model effectively transforms the student into the center of the learning process, enhancing the cognitive and motor perception of the complex technical stages of the shot put.
