dc.description.abstractThe article analyzes the historical stages of development of the Uzbek family in the past, historical and ethnographic features of family life, lifestyle of the population, economic life, social relations between family members. The article examines the features of the settlement of artisan families living in the historical cities of Uzbekistan, such as Tashkent, Bukhara, Khiva, Kokand, Margilan, Termez, Nurata, the settlement of the population in city quarters depending on the profession.
