dc.description.abstract	The article provides a comparative historical analysis of the introduction by the tsarist government during the First World War of the mobilization of the indigenous inhabitants of the Turkestan region for rear work and its negative impact on the economy of the region. It is also given on historical examples, the existing socio-economic situation in the region, the shortage of labor, the involvement of the disabled to work, the transformation of forced labor into a mandatory tax
