The aim of this study is to investigate the permeability of a combination of 585 nm solid-state laser radiation under the influence of fractional CO₂ laser on hypertrophic scar tissue. Additionally, the therapeutic and long-term effects of this combination on a rabbit ear hypertrophic scar model are evaluated. Methods include the application of 5% 5-ALK ointment on laser-treated tissue and measurement of fluorescence intensity to assess permeability. The results showed that the combined effect of fractional CO₂ laser and 585 nm radiation significantly increased the permeability and retention of 5-ALK in tissue. This also led to a reduction in the hypertrophic scar thickness after 7 days of treatment. Conclusion: the combination of fractional CO₂ laser and 585 nm radiation may be an effective method for treating hypertrophic scars.
