It emphasizes the role of values-based education in shaping learners' moral, cultural and intellectual development alongside their linguistic competencies. Axiological pedagogy is presented as an essential framework for integrating ethical, social, and intercultural dimensions into foreign language instruction. The article further explores methodological strategies conducive to axiological instruction and outlines the benefits and potential challenges of embedding values in ELT practices.
