The aim of this contribution was to test to what extend the implementation of Information Gap Activities could improve students’ speaking ability. Classroom action research procedures (plan, act, observe and reflection) were used to identify, test and find out outcomes of the research. Data was collected by pre-test and post-test of the learning speaking ability and by the observation of the class performance during the tasks.
