This article explores the growing role of artificial intelligence in enhancing the teaching and learning of literature within contemporary educational contexts. It examines how AI-based tools and technologies support literary analysis, improve student engagement, and personalize learning experiences. Particular attention is given to the pedagogical potential of artificial intelligence in developing critical thinking, interpretative skills, and learner autonomy. The study also discusses the changing role of the literature teacher in AI-supported classrooms and highlights ethical and methodological considerations related to the integration of intelligent technologies in education. The findings suggest that artificial intelligence, when applied purposefully and critically, can enrich literature instruction while preserving the human-centered nature of literary studies
