THE BEAUTIFUL NAMES OF GOD - A DOCTRINAL STUDY

Abstract

One of the most important things a person learns in this life is to know God through His names and attributes. God created creation and prescribed the Sharia only for the sake of comprehending these meanings. The subject of this research is the Most Beautiful Names of God and their connection to the aspect of faith. The goal that I hope this research will fulfill is to verify the statement regarding the Most Beautiful Names of God in terms of their authenticity and their doctrinal implications. For this reason, I collected whatever God made available to me of the Most Beautiful Names and cited evidence for each name from the Qur'an or the Sunnah. I then selected ninety-nine of these names from reliable sources of the scholars of investigation among the Sunnis and the Jama'ah. My methodology in this research was to extrapolate the scientific material, then analyze it in a way that serves the related issues and clarifies the correct statement regarding them.
