dc.description.abstractRural development is considered to be of noticeable importance in the country today than in the olden days in the process of the evolution of the nation. It is a strategy that tries to obtain an improved and productivity, higher socioeconomic equality and ambition, and stability in social and economic development. In the sphere of rural development, the role of MGNREGA scheme is immiscible. The case study gives us information about the impact and incidence of MGNREGA scheme in the socio-economic life of the common mass in a coastal district of Odisha.
