This article covers the issue of financial statement auditing. Civil law, administrative and economic law, and accounting are used to conduct the audit. As a consequence of this research, numerous approaches to the definition of the notion of "audit" have been investigated, as well as the primary goals and objectives of the audit have been clarified.
