The Uzbek dutor is one of the most ancient and unique musical instruments of the Uzbek people, distinguished by its unique sound and musical expression. This article is devoted to the analysis of the history of the Uzbek dutor, its role in music, and pedagogical approaches to teaching it to children as a form of music education. The article discusses the construction of the dutor, playing techniques, musical and pedagogical features. It also covers pedagogical methods, practical exercises, and interactive methods used in teaching the Uzbek dutor to children. The goal is to explain the pedagogical significance of the dutor in passing on the unique heritage of Uzbek music to the future generation and to effectively introduce it into the educational process.
