This paper examines the evolving interplay between traditional Uzbek moral norms and aesthetic ideals within the institution of marriage, analyzing how modern reinterpretations have reshaped these cultural constructs. It investigates the historical underpinnings of Uzbek matrimonial traditions while exploring the impact of globalization, modernization, and social change on long-held ethical and aesthetic values. Through an integrated philosophical and empirical approach, the study reveals how contemporary Uzbek society negotiates the tensions between preserving cultural heritage and embracing innovative ideas in marital practices. The discussion highlights the dynamic synthesis of tradition and modernity in shaping youth attitudes and societal expectations regarding marriage. Overall, the paper argues that the transformation of Uzbek marriage rituals offers profound insights into broader cultural and ethical evolutions in the region.
