The article considers the use of the graphic organizer "Structure of Persuasion" as an effective means of developing communicative competence in students. The linguistic and pragmatic aspects of using the organizer are highlighted, its role in developing argumentation skills, critical thinking and information literacy is emphasized. The results of the experimental study are analyzed, confirming the pedagogical value of this technology.
